Welcome to Engineeringshock Electronics! Who are we? We are a small company that specializes in kit design and manufacture. We are based in Carleton Place Ontario, which is located just outside of Ottawa, which is the capitol of Canada! We have all sorts of different components, sensors and kits for sale, so be sure to check us out! We also offer bulk pricing to distributors and companies that wish to implement our products in their designs. We also design low-level PCBs, and can help you if you're looking to turn your idea into a reality. Do you have an invention, but you don't have any background in electronics? Why not ask us if we can help? We also offer links to external sites that will help you to learn basic electronics! Just go to our KNOWLEDGE link if you want to know more! Our most exciting products can be found in the FEATURES section, so have yourself a look. We're always looking for fun and new ideas, and we're always on the build! Every new kit and/or module should have its own assembly and instructional video. This is to help you to grasp exactly what you would be purchasing. Kits can be difficult to assemble, but we offer step-by-step video instructions! Why not check out our kits section? Watch one of our videos! Our History: Patrick Mitchell, president and main kit engineer, graduated from the electronics engineering technician program at Conestoga College in 2009 with honours. Almost immediately following graduation, he began designing prototyping bread-board kits for students and hobbyists. These kits were posted for global availability on ebay. Engineeringshock Electronics formed in late 2010, and has since grown significantly. We are now designing high level stand alone RFID modules, and stand alone voice recognition modules that offer easy interface with your arduino, PIC, Stamp, or TTL circuit. Thanks to all of you supporters, in the past year we've been able to output more than 40 of our own kits, and more are being designed and implemented every day! Thanks for checking out our website. I have a very deep and profound love for electronics. In high school, I had very little interest in anything other than music, but as a child, I was taking things apart left right and centre! After high school, I worked for many companies that designed and manufactured electronic devices. I was hooked again! When you build something that works, and works well, there is no other feeling like it! The sense of accomplishment is amazing, and I know that I'm not alone when I say this. That is likely why you're here. When you put something together and it works, it is a great accomplishment. Kits are great for soldering experience, and you get a real sense of how the circuit is working. I want to be able to share this feeling with all of you. When you send an email to us, you'll be dealing directly with me. Engineeringshock Electronics is a very small company, and I take ownership of customer service, and technical support for all of the kits and modules. Since we are a small business, you can count on excellent and personal customer service. I record and edit all of the videos that you see in this website, and I designed the vast majority of the kits that we offer. Thank you very much for just being here. Thank you for supporting the little guy! The larger we become, the more unique and interesting products we will be able to develop. It is my personal goal to provide you with the best customer service, and products that I can. It is because of people like you that allow for my company to blossom, and I am sincerely appreciative! Please email us if there is anything specific that you need. We'll do our very best to get back to you quickly, and with an honest and thoughtful answer. Ever sincerely, Patrick Mitchell Check out one of our new and most interesting products:
